Winds (Saxophone)
I learned Saxophone in Grade 6 at DMLFNS
In DMLFNS (Dalian Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals School, long ass name and long ass initial), everyone is supposed to pick one instrument to play. At the time, I only knew how to play the piano and that wasn’t an option. I chose to play the Saxophone because my dad had one at home so I don’t have to buy a new instrument.
Saxophone is quite easy and hard if you look at it from different perspectives. There are only a select number of sounds or pitches you can go for, and you can only produce one note at a time. On the other hand, you have to memorize finger combinations for each different note, as it is not clearly visible like it is on a piano.
But, got it down on first day, so it’s still pretty easy.
Performed moderately, and I believe that’s it
There’s really not much I can talk about winds. To be honest, if you know how to play the saxophone, there are other similar wind instruments you can pick up on immediately. I’m just not invested into the idea of playing saxophone that much recently, but this page will be updated if I started playing saxophone again and incorporated it into one of the songs if that’s ever a thing.
