Also another recording that took me a long while to release. In both sense of the word “long”, yes, I haven’t released a song in a very long time, and yes, took me a while to master the mixes.
I first found those easy tabs on ultimateguitar.com, which you can view it here. I was viewing because I find the need to learn more guitar songs so when people ask me to perform, I really can. Also, I really love this song, but the key was always too high for me to sing in, so this was a great opportunity to bring it down a notch.
After I memorized the tabs, it was just not satisfying to play such a complicated song with such an easy tab. That’s why I developed my own picking pattern. It took me a while to get most details down. Since the original song is in piano, and I am playing a 6 string guitar, I can’t possibly get every details down, and need I remind you, I am an Amateur. So I took down some iconic notes like “F-E-CD” and “C-B-GA” and put them in the guitar. And in the end, no one had anything bad to say against the guitar part of the song, which makes me happy.
Alice, for one, said that this is the best cover song that I have ever produced. Now that does put a smile on my face.

People who know me for a long time should know that this picture was my profile picture for social media for a very long time. I didn't exactly “take” this picture per se, as this was a screenshot of a video, “Love Me Tender”.
Something was wrong with the rendering process, which made the paused view look weird. Not only was it weird on my Mac, it was also weird on Instagram, which must be some sort of decoding issue, but I liked its looks, the unfinished oil painting look, so I kept it and made it my profile picture.
The reason why this picture was used as the cover photo of this song was kinda weird. I wanted to put my finished artworks as pictures on my wall, so I scoured the internet and found “Mixtiles”, and at the time I ordered mine, their site discount was $100 for 16 tiles. At the time I only had 13 pictures, so I put in this picture as a place holder along with 2 others. Now that I have finished this song, I must have a cover artwork handy, or they won’t let me upload. That is why I eyed this picture, because it was just there, and I also don’t need to buy another tile from Mixtiles. Easy as that.
