I’ve heard this song over and over during my HIMYM marathons (yes, marathonS, many times), and have always thought this was a good song. Few days ago, I just have to figure out what is the name for this song. Since there are so many episodes in HIMYM, I couldn’t just pinpoint where the exact track is. There, I started looking on other people’s HIMYM Spotify Playlists, and there were just too many songs. Then I started searching on google, with something like “if I ever were to lose you”.

With that searched, Joel (Troy Baker) from “The Last of Us 2”’s rendition. His version was so soft, so low, and so intoxicating. That’s when I decided, OMFG, I have to learn how to play this song. I first pitched my cover with the capo at Fret 3 to Kihyun, and the reaction was great. That’s when I decided to really record something. Right now it is just 1 minute because I have to fit into Instagram’s petty 1 minute rule. But if people really like it, I will probably record a full video some day.
