This is the first time I have actually played my electric guitar in a song.

I originally recorded this song in acoustic guitar, click here to view that. It was a one minute recording for instagram. Like what I wrote on that page, I fell in love with this song when watching the episode when Barney marries Robin in HIMYM. It has stuck in my head, so I had to learn how to play it.

After watching a lot of tutorials, the short version is how I performed with an acoustic guitar. Since it was not half bad, I decided to record the full song. The problem is, it wasn’t good. I recorded it in a rather slow tempo, it made the song sound stretched.

That’s how I eyed on my bought-but-never-played electric guitar. I played the song on the electric guitar, and it sounded so much better. With the echo that the electric guitar brings, there is no need for other instruments. It’s just the lonely guitar sound, which is enough.

This is also the first video where I didn’t try something different with me singing. Of course, there are the two piano playing videos that I made that I used the same recording method, but those are two pianos. I can’t possibly bring the pianos wherever I want. Since there are no other instruments in this song, and it was rather simple, I decided to record it simply.

Notice the pimples on my face? Yeah, I don’t usually have pimples. This is from all the nights binge studying for my winter classes. Winter 2020 and Winter 2021. I’ll always remember.

This must have been the simplest album cover picture that I have ever made.

Honestly, didn’t even put in effort. I did spend a lot of time photoshopping my face tho, this is why it looks different compared to the video. I had to clean the pimples from binge studying away in the official album cover lol.

I didn’t even add my name to this album cover. If you compare it with my previous ones, you’ll see that this is, indeed, the simplest album cover I made. I wanted it to look simple. I figured, if someone is to want to recognize my stage name for my songs in all the music platforms, they’ll probably just click through the name. There is no need for me to cave my name into their heads by making it look so big. If they don’t want to hear my songs and covers, they’ll probably forget that name anyways.

Of course, I wanted to use the picture of the cloud and the moon as the album picture of this song, but it got shot down by all of my friends and all of my family members. Something about it being too dark and not pleasant. Oh well.

I mean, it still looks sick right?
